DASH KEYNOTE
Dash is Datadog’s annual user conference focused on the future of applications, infrastructure, security, and technical teams. Held at the Javits Center, the 2025 event welcomed thousands of attendees from around the world.
I served as the lead keynote designer, partnering with other designers, animators, and our production vendor to shape the full event brand experience.
KEY SLIDES
Below is a selection of work from the 2025 conference. I collaborated closely with stakeholders—including executives, product managers, and engineers—to help shape the narrative behind new product announcements and ensure the story resonated with our audience.
COLOR PALETTE
We adapted the existing DASH palette specifically for the keynote, focusing on legibility and clarity. Darker backgrounds paired with brighter typography improved contrast, making content easier to read both on stage and in the livestream.
These color explorations show how the palette was applied across various slide layouts to evaluate contrast, hierarchy, and overall visual impact.
SCREEN DESIGN
For the keynote screen design, we had to account for a range of asset types—slides, product demos, customer testimonials, and more. I worked with my team to develop layouts and flow for elements like IMAGs, customer logos, product names, and statuses.
To support the branding, we used a simple yet vibrant gradient background that helped presenters stand out more clearly on stage and in the livestream recording.
